This Chapter is intended to promote economic development and enhance the health, safety,
and welfare of its residents, workers, and visitors through the integration of environmentally
sustainable strategies in building construction and landscapes in the City. The minimum
standards, set forth herein, are intended to minimize the use of natural resources
and the production of waste and maximize the healthfulness of enclosed environments.
