§ 8.21.020. Authority and purpose.

This chapter is adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the City of Oakland in Article XI, Section 5(a) and Section 7 of the California Constitution, and Section 106 of the Oakland City Charter.

B.

The purpose and intent of this Chapter is to protect public health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the City of Oakland.
