§ 9.04.040. Altering and falsifying public records.

  • It is unlawful for any person to wilfully alter, falsify, deface, mutilate, destroy, secrete, or, without the consent of the officer having custody of the same, to remove the whole or any part of any book, map, paper, instrument, document or record filed, deposited or recorded in any public office or with any public office of the city.
