§ 5.60.020. Permit required.

  • It is unlawful for any person to conduct or maintain, or to permit or cause to be conducted or maintained, any skating rink, or to erect or reconstruct, or continue the erection of, or the reconstruction of, any building, or any part thereof, to be used as, or occupied for the purpose of a skating rink, or to alter, repair, or make additions to, any existing building for any such purpose within the city, unless there exists a valid permit therefor, granted and existing in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 5.02. The application for such permit shall set forth the requirements specified in Section 5.02.020. Public notice shall be given as provided in Section 5.02.050, and the investigating official referred to in Section 5.02.030, to whom the application shall be referred shall be the Fire Marshal.
